HALF WAY TREE, KINGSTON JAMAICA
HALF WAY TREE CLOCK. This symbolises the heart of the city of Kingston. Kingstonians often say they were "born underneath the clock" , which means they were born in the heart of Kingston, Jamaica. It is also a favourite meeting spot for people, as it is literally the main intersection of "up town"(north) and "down town" (south) and the dividing line between the parishes of Kingston and St Andrew.
